Needio values user trust and privacy. Your personalized data points — Cinematic Value Clarification quiz selections, taste and dietary preferences, saved memory, and itinerary parameters — are processed and stored exclusively client-side in this browser via type-safe local storage (needio.profile.v1), with your concierge transcript under needio.concierge.v1. Clearing browser storage, or “Delete all memory & reset” on the Me page, erases all of it immediately and permanently.
Two features do involve our servers, and we name them plainly rather than imply otherwise. First, if you choose to create an account, the details you type on that screen — name, email, phone, and any departure date and airport you give us — are stored in our own secured database so the concierge can reach you. Second, messages you send to the Needio concierge are transmitted to our server, which relays them to an AI model provider to generate a reply. Live place information, maps, and partner availability are likewise fetched through our server rather than from your browser directly.
Cookies and partner tracking: Needio sets no advertising cookies of its own and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking pixels. When you tap an affiliate-tracked partner link, that partner may set its own tracking cookie on its own domain so it can attribute the referral. That cookie belongs to the partner and is governed by the partner's privacy policy; Needio cannot read it, and Needio does not receive your browsing activity on the partner's site.
Needio does not sell or share your personal information, does not attach an advertising identifier to it, does not track your physical paths, and does not monetize your browsing patterns, dietary preferences, or itinerary choices in any external corporate data market. No profile, memory, or preference data is transmitted to an affiliate partner.
